Friday Friday Friday ahhhhh...... it comes with feelings of fun, frolic, freedom and freshness. As the week comes to an end, energies roll down to an all time low. It is extremely necessary to keep up the momentum and the enthusiasm at the office so that work does not get affected. There is a need to spice up the lives of the employees on Fridays.
Casual Clothing can be one option...and a good one at that. Casual clothing plays an essential role in bringing fresh vibes to an office environment. Casuals on Fridays do not mean being casual towards work but a chance to look at things from a different prospective. An employee working in an organization understands the eco-system and his responsibility towards work. He/She would never wear casuals if they have to go for a client meeting or any formal meetings. A crisp formal shirt and a pair of Jeans can be the best combination for office casual dressing. I take this opportunity to share my thoughts about casual dressing through Imprimis Blog and await everyone's views on this.

Casual attire definitely adds to the enthusiasm factor in an otherwise frantic environment – not that the employees have minimal work on Fridays :D … the activation of this code will just help in boosting up a healthy and interactive platform internally. Keeping in mind the other side to it, the employees should be able to maturely dress up in case of an event, meeting etc slated for Fridays. I think we can at least start with it on an initial examination basis for a month or so …
I once read somewhere that people are driven by psychosomatic mesh. What you feel inside is what you are ! So it is vital to feel good to do good.
Donning a pair of casuals makes you feel better ! Well that is a point to ponder....
I agree till the time casual dressing (for office) is as defined by Mahak.
Agree, it should be allowed to wear casuals on Friday. However, those in services wear formals if there are any client meetings, event etc on Friday
Yes thats a good option,there should be something different on friday's.
Its a myth that casual dressing on friday might leave an impression that employees would take that day of the week lightly...well!this can explored as Amrita said for atleast a month or so..it peps up the enthusiasm and the mood to work...We must give it a try!!!
Going by ‘psychosomatic mesh’ logic I am in favor of a casual dress code right away. A vibrant and colorful environment can certainly have a huge impact on the mind and body. We need to have further debate and consensus on this.
Wooaah!! I see a lot of discussion going on which is niacee!!! Good going!! As far as Casual Friday Dressing is concerned well psychomsomatic mesh.....pep up ....fresh vibes et al all have merits.Considering I am a non believer non conformist my ask would be Why Not? can be explored!!!

Sure why not people can keep a set of formals in office at all times so as to get into them in case of any last minute meetinng on FRIDAY
it looks there is overwhelming vote in favor of casual dressing on Friday and i am also in favor of the same however, how to manage when there is sudden client meeting that comes up and we need to be formally dressed for the same.
If guys can keep jacket in office and something similar for girls there could be possible way out.. but if there are any more idea, we can work towards this great idea

casual fridays....remind me of the skul daz wen v used to crave to go 2 skul n meet friends in casuals(n dat happnd either on the Parent teacher meetings sob sob or some functions)....but i think in office d entire week we are in differnt colors ..different styles...y not define some color combinations dat define Imprimis and friday lets be in dat uniformity be it casual or formal......to be a single entity dat d work pressure dosnt let us attain....lets try gettin it bak d casual way!!!!!
